Flamingo Gardens

A nonprofit wildlife sanctuary, Flamingo Gardens houses over 90 species of Florida native wildlife on 60 acres of land. One of the primary goals of the sanctuary is the rehabilitation and release of injured wildlife; most of the animals on display are permanently injured and cannot be released. Flamingo Gardens is also a botanical gardens, home to 20 "Champion" trees, which are the largest trees of their species.
